SS7 Palsankylä 1 13.92 km
1 Sébastien Loeb/Daniel Elena (Citroen DS3 WRC)
´Im trying to keep the position. Mikko found a fast rhythm today. I made some small mistakes but I think this one went better than the previous one.´
2 Mikko Hirvonen/Jarmo Lehtinen (Citroen DS3 WRC)
´This stage didn´t go so well; it was rocky. We´ll try again the next time. This one was more technical so we lost. Loeb drove this one well.´
3 Jari-Matti Latvala/Miikka Anttila (Ford Fiesta RS WRC)
´We are getting a bit closer; only a couple more seconds. I´m trying my best but it´s not happening. It just doesn´t stay on the ground well enough.´
4 Petter Solberg/Chris Patterson (Ford Fiesta RS WRC)
´Loeb is going fast - he seems to have more than the others. I still have to keep pushing; can´t do anything else.´
5 Ott Tänak/Kuldar Sikk (Ford Fiesta RS WRC)
´Really loose, really tricky, and I didn´t have good notes. A challenging stage.´
6 Evgeny Novikov/Denis Giraudet (Ford Fiesta RS WRC)
´After the first stage when we jumped, my co-driver´s back is not good. We have to slow a bit.´ The time was good.
7 Chris Atkinson/Stephane Prevot (Citroen DS3 WRC)
´I felt good and the car felt good. It´s a tricky stage and it has changed a bit from last year.´
8 Thierry Neuville/Nicolas Gilsoul (Citroen DS3 WRC)
´I really enjoyed and tried to push.´
10 Mads Östberg/Jonas Andersson (Ford Fiesta RS WRC)
´We are trying to push hard but I don´t want to push more - it´s a bit on the edge. I want to catch time and not lose it.´
12 Armindo Araújo/Miguel Ramalho (Mini John Cooper Works WRC)
´I´m not so happy; we should go faster. I try not to commit mistakes. We are losing some time cleaning the road but it´s part of the game.´
14 Paulo Nobre/Edu Paula (Mini John Cooper Works WRC)
´The car is better than in the morning but worse than yesterday. Sometimes I´m afraid I lose the grip. I´d like to learn, though.´
15 Martin Prokop/Zdenek Hruza (Ford Fiesta RS WRC)
´Tricky moments and out of the road a bit. I had problems with the pacenotes - big slides. Luckily we are here.´
17 Jari Ketomaa/Mika Stenberg (Ford Fiesta RS WRC)
´A very nice stage and quite a good time; I really enjoyed but the car is still misfiring and not working. They couldn´t fix it at the service.
18 Matti Rantanen/Mikko Lukka (Ford Fiesta RS WRC)
´I´m not happy with my driving - a few mistakes and not a good rhythm. My notes were good but there´s a lot of loose gravel. We had a bit of a moment in one jump. A bit too flashy driving. I was fumbling a bit.´
19 Sebastian Lindholm/Timo Hantunen (Ford Fiesta RS WRC)
´It´s going better and better. Some corners are OK but slippery. I think Lankamaa and Mökkiperä will be bad. Lots of loose gravel. My biggest problem is the missing touch after a long break. At this age I just don´t dare.´
20 Sebastien Ogier/Julien Ingrassia (Skoda Fabia S2000)
´Not a bad start. The setup is better than before.´
21 Andreas Mikkelsen/Ola Floene (Skoda Fabia S2000)
´We are not overdoing anything. We are learning the stage and I´m happy with my performance. It´s not maximum crazy speed.´
32 Craig Breen/Paul Nagle (Ford Fiesta S2000)
´The rear of the car is not good; I thought I had a puncture.´
33 Per-Gunnar Andersson/Emil Axelsson (Proton Satria Neo S2000)
´The drive is fine and the pacenotes are working.´
34 Juha Salo/Marko Salminen (Proton Satria Neo S2000)
´I took some corners too carefully but now I´m having some equal times with PG (Andersson).´
36 Yazeed Al Rajhi/Michael Orr (Ford Fiesta RRC)
´One mistake in the fast section over a crest. I had to learn a bit too much on this one.´
43 Ken Block/Alex Gelsomino (Ford Fiesta RS WRC)
´I really liked this stage - lots of high speed places. So many fans - it´s amazing. Still too conservative in the jumps but I´m doing my best.´
49 Esapekka Lappi/Janne Ferm (Ford Fiesta S2000)
´It was a great but tricky stage but it went OK for the first time. I´m happy with the car. The guys have cut corners and of course I´ve had to do the same.´
51 Jarkko Nikara/Petri Nikara (Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX)
´A very enjoyable stage but we lost some time due to a gear change mistake. Fourth gear did not engage. Mökkiperä can be rough the next time around.´
52 Jukka Ketomäki/Kai Risberg (Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X)
´In the morning we lost our power steering but it´s fixed. I´m a bit ill now.´
53 Riku Tahko/Markus Soininen (Mini John Cooper Works WRC)
´I´m still losing to Block but I am satisfied with the car and my driving. I still have to do better because Block is going fast.´
