Neste Oil Rally Finland visits Lahti on August 2nd
Neste Oil Rally Finland´s route will extend again this year for one day from the traditional centre of the rally, Jyväskylä, down to Päijät-Häme and Lahti. Bringing the route for the second year running close to big southern metropolitan areas - and only a three hour´s drive from St. On Thursday 2 August, the official opening day of the rally, the free of charge public event in Lahti Harbour is filled with rally fever from morning to six o´clock at night, after which the events will centre on the Koukunmaa special stage (at 17.23). Afterwards, the competition moves to Jokimaa Super Special Stage, starting at 19.00 in Jokimaa trotting track. Last stage of the day is Mynnilä (at 20.50), after which the competitors return to Service Park for an overnight rest halt at rally base in Jyväskylä Paviljonki. The rally event in Lahti Harbour will gather WRC cars and world-class drivers in front of the audience in the spectacular scenery of Vesijärvi. The day includes also other kinds of entertainment, such as moped competitions, skaboard jam sessions, live concerts, as well as historic car displays and design workshops.
