Elisa creates experiences in Neste Oil Rally Finland

FIA press conference and Start Order Selection carried out using new technology

FIA´s official press conference, held at Jyväskylä Paviljonki Rally HQ before the first official competition day of Neste Oil Rally Finland, on Wednesday 1 August at 22.00, will be carried out with FIA´s approval by means of video conference.

Also reporters in Lahti are able to take part in the press conference held at Paviljonki.

Reporters in Lahti are able to make questions via high-quality Telepresence technology - communication with interviewees is equal in quality to live situation. Connection to Jyväskylä Paviljonki Rally HQ is created from Radio Yle Lahti´s office, using video conference services provided by Videra, affiliated company of Neste Oil Rally Finland´s Official Supplier Elisa.

Start Order Selection via interactive touch screen

After qualifying, the drivers of Neste Oil Rally Finland will choose their start order for the following day´s competition at Jyväskylä Paviljonki, on Wednesday 1 August at 21.30, using an interactive application built in a digital touch screen. The view on Start Order Selection screen will be shown live on a giant screen in Paviljonki area, where spectators can watch Start Order Selection in real time.

The Start Order Selection screen and the custom-made application are a part of digital signage service, provided to Neste Oil Rally Finland by Elisa´s affiliated company Videra, specialised in visual communication. The service includes, for example, the 19 m² LED screen in Paviljonki area.
