FLASH INFO
SS3 Jukojärvi 1
22.29kms
The road conditions are very good. The overnight rain has made the road slightly damp. Lots of spectators are enjoying the stage.
1: Sebastien Loeb/Daniel Elena
There was some damage to the front of the car. "I don´t know where that happened. I was flat out but Mikko is flying."
2: Sebastien Ogier/Julien Ingrassia
"It was more slippery than the first stage."
3: Mikko Hirvonen/Jarmo Lehtinen
The windscreen on Hirvonen´s car was cracked. "I used my old lines. The damage appeared a bit before the finish so it was not that bad but the visibility is not too good."
4: Jari-Matti Latvala/Miikka Anttila
"For some reason this stage doesn´t really suit me even though it´s quite nice. There was no drama or anything. We´ll just have to improve the next time."
7: Dani Sordo/Marc Marti
"There was a little bit of loose gravel but the stage is nice."
5: Matthew Wilson/Scott Martin
"The last part was quite tricky. There was a lot of loose gravel on the top."
6: Henning Solberg/Ilka Minor
"The engine stalled on the stage. I also had a puncture. The right front is down."
8: Kimi Räikkönen/Kaj Lindström
Co-driver: "The road is quite soft so I think the boys at the front have the best advantage."
15: Mads Östberg/ Jonas Andersson
"On the first two stages of this morning everything was fine. My pace notes are working, but I feel I´m not pushing enough. There is more to come. I still need to find the best pace and rhythm."
14: Khalid Al Qassimi/Michael Orr
"Lots of loose gravel. I didn´t have a good confidence."
12: Juha Kankkunen/Juha Repo
"I´m being a bit too careful and trying to find the correct braking points."
17: Mattias Therman/Janne Perälä
"We made an easy start to find a good rhythm. The car is going very well. I just need the driver to do the same."
29: Jari Ketomaa/Mika Stenberg
"We tried a bit too hard. We visited the ditch once or twice. "
53: Per Gunnar Andersson/Anders Fredriksson
"My driving is OK but the time was crap. I´m missing power; the car is very lazy."
21: Martin Prokop/Jan Tománek
"The local guys are much faster."
24: Patrik Sandell/Emil Axelsson
"We keep on trying. That´s the only thing we can do."
23: Michal Kosciuszko/Maciek Szczepaniak
"I haven´t found the confidence in the car yet so I am not driving flat out."
27: Janne Tuohino/Marko Sallinen
"The steering wheel became loose after a jump. It´s a bit difficult to drive without a steering wheel." With a slightly sarcastic tone: "Once again, it´s a wonderful start for us."
51: Juho Hänninen/Mikko Markkula
"It´s a bit heavy when there´s no turbo on the car but it´s the same for all in our group."
52: Matti Rantanen/Mikko Lukka
"I changed into too small a gear in some places."
48: Patrik Flodin/Göran Bergström
"I can´t do anything more, but the times are not coming. This car is not as fast as my previous Mitsubishi, which has a 32mm restrictor.
38: Hayden Paddon/John Kennard
"The notes are only average and the car has some vibration at the rear, which affects my confidence a little. Maybe it is a damper problem."
44: Paulo Nobre/Eduardo Paula
"I am so disappointed. The transmission has broken on this stage. I think we have to retire. I will talk to the team to see what we can do, but the same has also happened before in another rally."
34: Martin Semerad/Michal Ernst
"The steering column is probably broken. The car is impossible to drive."
40: Ott Tänak/Kuldar Sikk
"Some big stones are appearing on the road so it is rough in some places. You have to drive around the stones.¨
41: Alessandro Bruschetta/Edoardo Civiero
"The gravel roads here are completely different from the gravel roads in Italy."
49: Juha Salo/Jarkko Kalliolepo
"I´m driving a bit too much sideways."
